The teak is one of the highlights of the ship. It is REAL teak. The stuff you can't buy any more since 1984. The thickness after all these years is still 12mm. It was well looked after as you can see on these images. The sikaflex joints are still good. And once a year around 100 screw-tops need recorking. This is actually a very nice and satisfying job.
Tips: it has to be deep-cleaned once a year and for the rest only light scrub with SALT-Water. Nothing else. No illusions the deck looks more like the right side now. So deep-clean in the spring.
Never ever use a pressure washer, never.
